Rally Day marks the beginning of the new year for Children and Youth activities at Durham.\u00a0 Activities start early on Rally Sunday with the kid-chefs cooking up breakfast for the meeting.\u00a0 Come join us right from the start of our new year.<\/p>\n
Breakfast creation<\/span><\/em> 8:45 AM \u2013 kids who like to cook, come help!!<\/p>\n Breakfast<\/span><\/em> <\/span>9:30 AM Open to all<\/p>\n Program<\/span><\/em> 10:00 Come learn what\u2019s happening in Christian Education<\/p>\n Meeting for Worship<\/span><\/em> 10:25 \u2013 Inter-generational, kid friendly service \u2013 no Sunday School.<\/p>\n Schedule 2011 \u2013 2012<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n This year we will have three age groups meeting on different Sundays.<\/p>\n As usual, childcare will be provided for babies and toddlers.<\/p>\n Elementary Grades<\/span><\/em><\/strong> (preschool age through grade five) meet 1st<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> Sundays beginning at 10:25 AM.\u00a0 We will be using the Godly Play curriculum.<\/p>\n The middle school age group<\/span><\/em><\/strong> <\/em>(grades six \u2013 eight or nine) will meet 2nd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> Sundays beginning at 10:25am.\u00a0 The curriculum will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n Passages, the high school group<\/span><\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> will meet 1st<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> Sundays, beginning at 10:15 AM.<\/p>\n After September 11th<\/sup>, the regular Sunday School schedule begins:<\/p>\n September 18: Godly Play and Passages<\/p>\n September 25: Middle School<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Wendy Schlotterbeck Rally Day marks the beginning of the new year for Children and Youth activities at Durham.\u00a0 Activities start early on Rally Sunday with the kid-chefs cooking up breakfast for the meeting.\u00a0 Come join us right from the … Continue reading
