{"id":2195,"date":"2018-08-06T09:47:20","date_gmt":"2018-08-06T14:47:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.durhamfriendsmeeting.org\/?p=2195"},"modified":"2018-10-22T09:10:22","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T14:10:22","slug":"want-to-stay-aware-of-whats-happening-in-quakerdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.durhamfriendsmeeting.org\/?p=2195","title":{"rendered":"Want to Stay Aware of What&#8217;s Happening in Quakerdom?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One way to stay aware of what&#8217;s happening around the Quaker world is to subscribe to Martin Kelly&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quakerranter.org\/\">Quaker Ranter Daily<\/a>, a nearly-daily blog and e-mail service.\u00a0 Kelly reads dozens and dozens of blog posts by Quakers around the U.S. and beyond, and posts links to what he thinks are the most interesting ones.<\/p>\n<p>Today, for example, he links to a post from Emily Provance, a member of 15th Street Meeting in New York, about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quakerranter.org\/using-different-strategies-for-generations\/\">Generational Strategies for Quaker Outreach<\/a>.\u00a0 nEmily believes we need different communication strategies for those over and those under age 45.<\/p>\n<p>He also links today to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quakerranter.org\/a-view-of-the-wilmington-ym-schism-from-the-rising-clerk\/\">a blog post from J. J.
