The committee has cleared with Trustees adding a \u201cmenstruation station\u201d to the bathroom. This will include personal supplies such as tampons, pads, wipes, and paper towels and a more hygienic means of collection like a small, covered, and lined container for disposal of used items.

Adult\u00a0Sunday\u00a0School is covering the book Waking Up White<\/em> by Debbie Irving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Durham Friends have been given the opportunity to co-sponsor an event with Friends\u2019 School of Portland in their Parenting For Peace series, \u201cTell Me The Truth: Exploring the Heart of Cross-Racial Conversations\u201d between Debbie and Shay Stewart Bouley on\u00a0May 1st. Christian Ed requested funds to share in the cost of co-sponsoring, and it was suggested and approved that the $100 be split equally between the budgets of Christian Education and Peace & Social Concerns. Leslie Manning volunteered to sit at a table representing Durham at the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christian Ed will be coordinating with other committees including Ministry & Counsel to plan a Homecoming\u00a0Sunday\u00a0on World Quaker Day, the\u00a0first Sunday in October. A key feature of the day will be sharing stories from the life of the meeting in the past.
