It was a joy to be with you yesterday in worship and to talk about Friends\u2019 advocacy and FCNL. I wanted to follow up and send the links I shared in the chat, as well as more information on some of the areas that came up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resources and support for lobbying virtually<\/strong><\/a>: Here\u2019s where you\u2019ll find written guides as well as links to our regular in-person training, \u201cLearn to Lobby in 30 Minutes\u201d (the next one is February 2) and ways to contact FCNL\u2019s organizers with specific questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Connecting Durham Friends to FCNL<\/strong>: In addition to FCNL\u2019s action alert email list<\/a>, I put out a monthly newsletter specifically addressed to Quakers. You can sign up on our website here<\/a>. The email list is open to everyone, not just a person officially designated as a contact with your meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Federal Native American advocacy resources<\/strong>: An overview of FCNL\u2019s focus<\/a> is on our website. There\u2019s also more on the history of FCNL\u2019s Native American advocacy program<\/a>.
